General Policies

  • Courts may be booked 7 days in advance (day starting at 7:30am), either in person, email, by phone, or online. Bookings made online are given priority if a booking/event booking conflict occurs. I.e. booking a court online at 7:30am is given priority over email-booking/phone-booking to book a court at 7:30am.

  • BNWT requires a minimum of 24 hours notice for the cancellation of all private lessons, events, or court bookings. Failure to comply will result in a cancellation fee equal to the fee for the event.

  • Courts must be paid for before entering the dome.

  • Bookings made during restricted time slots are subject to approval from BNWT management. If a restricted booking is made, BNWT has the right to change the start/end time(s) to accommodate as many members as possible. Restricted time slots include Mon-Fri 3-5pm, 5-7pm, 7-9pm, and bookings made on the half-hour.

  • BNWT reserves the right to charge any outstanding fees to the member’s or client's credit card number on file. BNWT uses tokenization with all online transactions.

  • Use of the facilities at BNWT is at one’s own risk. Staff members of BNWT will not be responsible for any injuries or thefts that take place during use.

  • Members and guests are to display proper tennis etiquette at all times, including during court change over times. In respect to others, all members and guests are to wait until a finished rally before crossing over courts.

  • Unsportsmanlike behaviour will not be permitted at BNWT. Any person will be asked to leave the premises if he or she is causing a disturbance to other users. BNWT has a three-strike policy with disciplinary action occurring after a player's first warning.

  • All players have the right to participate in BNWT activities in an environment that is free from discrimination and/or harassment. Language or activities that defeat this objective will not be tolerated at BNWT.

  • The management of BNWT reserves the right to suspend/terminate/refuse membership or lesson attendance privileges in the event of unsportsmanlike or abusive conduct unbecoming a member.

  • Members and guests are to use the provided waste and recycling bins located between courts 1 and 2, and between courts 3 and 4.

  • Lesson Etiquette: See Player Development Standards

Guest Policy

  • Members may bring as many guests as they wish, however, the same guest may only play to a maximum of 4 times per season. All guests must sign in at the front desk and are asked to provide their full name, phone number, and email address before entering the dome. Guest fees are an additional $10/person, plus the applicable court fee(s).

Fragrance Free Facility

  • BNWT realizes an increasing number of people have developed sensitivities to certain chemicals. BNWT wants to limit the exposure of workers, volunteers, and customers to chemical substances. We support the creation of a fragrance free environment so that chemical barriers will not prevent access to BNWT for people with chemical sensitivities. This policy applies to all staff, members, and guests, who are asked to refrain from using, wearing, and bringing scented products and materials into the facility. We appreciate your cooperation.

Refund Policies

    • A 100% refund will be offered if you are not satisfied within the first 7 days of your membership purchase. No refunds will be offered after 7 days of your membership registration. In the case of an injury, BNWT will review the circumstances and make a judgment of that particular case.

    • Serious injuries resulting in extensive loss of play will be assessed individually, with either a credit or refund issued at the discretion of the management.

    • Cancellation with less than 7 days:

      • If written notification is received less than 7 days prior to the program start date, no refund or credit will be issued.

    • Cancellation after program start:

      • If written notification is received after the program has started, no refund or credit will be issued.

    • Program has ended:

      • If written notification is received after the program has ended, no refund or credit will be issued.

    • Program is cancelled:

      • If a registrant cannot be accommodated due to insufficient enrolment or BNWT cancels your program for other reasons, there will be a full refund. Transfers will be made wherever possible.

    • Participant removed by staff:

      • If a participant is withdrawn by staff due to program incompatibility, there will be a pro-rated refund or credit issued for the balance of the classes.

Round Robin / Event Policies

  • All participants of our activity programs must provide a minimum of 24-hour cancellation notice. Late cancellations, “no-shows”, and tardiness (>15minutes late), will be billed for the whole amount to the member’s account.

  • In fairness to all members and guests, members are expected to arrive on time to the event they have signed up for. Confirmation emails are automatically sent when the player originally signs up, plus an additional reminder email is sent 24 hours before the start of the event. Late cancellations, no-shows, and tardiness are difficult to rectify on short notice by the desk staff, and has the potential of disrupting the event and its players.

  • BNWT reserves the right to fill vacant spots required to run events with any verified member, staff member, or client.

  • Three-Infraction Policy:

    • In the event of one of the three(3) situations listed above occurs, the member will be given written notice of their infraction, and be billed for the whole amount. In the event of a second infraction, the member will not be permitted to play in any round robins for two weeks, and be billed for the whole amount. In the event of a third infraction, the member will not be permitted to play in any round robin for four(4) weeks, and be billed for the whole amount.

Permanent Court Bookings / Requests

  • Permanent court bookings are requested prior to the beginning of each season.

  • Not all booking requests may be granted. BNWT will consider all booking requests and review all possibilities to accommodate as many members as possible.

  • Certain time slots are prohibited for any permanent court booking.

  • BNWT will attempt to hold - for the membership at large - a minimum of one court at all times for reservations to be made 7 days in advance after 2pm on weekdays, and all day on weekends.

  • Certain courts may be prohibited at certain times.

  • If multiple booking requests are submitted for the same day/time, BNWT has the right to restrict any permanent court booking at that day/time, or give priority to the first submitted request.

  • Each season will have a deadline for pre-season requests, and any requests made after such deadline must be made to BNWT management, either in person, by phone (705-737-2888), or emailed to

  • Any permanent court booking requires 72hours in advance notice for cancellations. Failure to comply will result in the court fee being charged to the group contact's account.

  • Recipients of permanent court bookings must not cancel more than 30% of their bookings. Cancellations exceeding 30% of the total seasonal reservation will result in the loss of the permanent booking for the remainder of the season.  Such circumstances will be taken into consideration regarding any future permanent court booking requests.

  • The court that has been designated for your permanent court booking is the court you will receive each week, and BNWT will not consider any court change requests. However, BNWT does reserve the right to change court allocation based on other activity.
