MANDATORY MASKS

Masks or face coverings are mandatory inside the clubhouse and through transitional areas. You may remove your mask once you are on your designated court and ready to play.

STAGGERED START TIMES

Courts 1 through 4 will be staggered by 15 minutes to allow for distancing between groups. Group play and lessons on more than one court will also have staggered start times.

5 MINUTE EXIT

There will be an indicator on each court to notify you when it is your exit time. Your group will have 5 minutes to exit the facility. We kindly ask for the cooperation from all our members with this protocol.

COURT FEES

Court fees will be $40 and $48 per 1.5 hours. This fee is divisible by the number of people on the court.

GUEST PLAY

Guests must register with the desk staff prior to their court time and agree to our COVID-19 waiver. Members are asked to inform their guests to call the Club ahead of the booking to get familiarized with new policies and procedures.

PAYMENTS

All payments to be on account, debit, or credit card. There will be no cash on the premises this season. All members must have a credit card on file.

LABEL YOUR BELONGINGS

Ensure all of your belongings are properly labelled. Anything left behind without a label will be discarded. BNWT is not responsible for the replacement of any belonging left behind.

GROUP LESSONS

Ratios for all recreational lessons will be reduced 6:1 and 5:1 for competitive, both with physical distancing measures in place. All classes will be 1.5 hours and be staggered by 15 minutes. Spectators are not permitted at this time. Players must be dropped off and picked up, and can only enter the facility 5 minutes before their lesson time.

APPOINTMENT ONLY

All visitors must have a scheduled court time, lesson, or appointment. Anyone coming into the clubhouse to inquire will be turned away and asked to make an appointment by phone call.

TRAVEL ADVISORY

Do not enter the facility if you, or someone in your social circle, has been out of the country or province within the last 14 days.

SANITIZE UPON ENTRY

Use the provided hand sanitizer upon entry to clubhouse and dome. Use before exiting dome after your court time.

1.5HR COURT BOOKINGS

All court times will be 1.5 hours in duration. Back to back court times are not permitted. Bookings will show 1.75 hour bookings, allowing the last 15 minutes to be reserved for court

change-over.

NO ROUND ROBINS

There will be no Round Robins or Clinics until further notice. Instead, the Club will offer Organized Doubles, where players can sign up in advance to be placed in a doubles match.

CAMP CHAIRS

Members will be permitted to bring their own camp chair in the clubhouse and on court, as no benches or tables will be available. Ensure your chair is properly labelled and can easily fold up to fit through the revolving door.

TIME INDICATORS

Each court will have an indicator that instructs your group when it's time to exit the facility. You will have 5 minutes to pack up and depart.

NO CHANGE ROOMS

Keep all your belongings (coat, boots, etc.) at the hook station matching your court number in the main room of the clubhouse, as change rooms will be closed. Hook stations will be sanitized after each group.

BATHROOM UPGRADES

Toilets, soap dispensers, and paper towel dispensers will all be motion activated to limit touch points. Washrooms will be sanitized regularly throughout the day, and a cleaning service will come once per week.

BNWT EQUIPMENT

Only staff will be permitted to touch equipment for lessons, including balls, ball hoppers, cones, mini-nets, etc. Players will be asked to use their racquet to pick-up balls during play. Equipment will be regularly sanitized.

REFUSE ENTRY

BNWT reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone it feels presents a health risk or refuses to abide by our COVID-19 policies and procedures.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

BNWT has implemented several measures to ensure physical distancing between groups.

DIRECTIONAL ARROWS

Follow the directional arrows

throughout the facility.

ARRIVE READY TO PLAY

Arrive ready to play, as no change rooms will be available. You must wait in your vehicle until 5 minutes prior to the start of your court time.

COURT CROSSING

Groups scheduled on courts 3 or 4 are asked to enter the court as a unit at the end of a rally in order to minimize the disruption to play on middle courts.

NAMES ON BOOKINGS

The names of all players must be on the booking ahead of time, to ensure staff knows who to expect and when. You can include player's names at the time of your online booking, or notify the desk staff in advance of your court time.

NO BALL MACHINE

There will be no use of the Ball Machine until further notice.

NO FURNITURE

Furniture will be removed in the main room and replaced with belonging stations that correspond with court numbers. Each station will be sanitized after each group.

LATE POLICY

Being late for your court time is extremely discouraged, as it affects the changeover times for other members and guests. If you are late, you are asked to call the club from the parking lot when you arrive. The club will notify you when it is safe to enter.

CLEAN YOUR EQUIPMENT

Clean or sanitize your equipment regularly, including your racquet and tennis bag. It is recommended to replace your tennis balls frequently and not share equipment outside of your group.

POLICY CHANGES

As COVID-19 is a constantly evolving landscape, BNWT may decide to ease on restrictions or policies during the season. Feedback from the membership and guests is always welcomed.
